SUPPLEMENTS THAT BOOST YOUR BRAIN FUNCTION – PART 2

  1. Curcumin

Curcumin is one of the most anit-inflammatory phytonutrients that is liked to improved brain function and a lower risk of potential brain diseases.

Curcumin’s superpower lies in its ability to increase brain levels of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) which is a type of growth hormone in the brain.  A decreased level of this hormone has been linked to many brain disorders including depression and Alzheimer’s disease.

Consuming turmeric or taking supplemental curcumin may be an effective way of fighting various degenerative processes in the brain.

Research also shows that curcumin effectively extinguishes the fires of inflammation, turns on disease-fighting genes and turns off disease-promoting genes.  The neuro-protective prosperities it offers is how it is linked to reducing the risk of brain diseases.

Check back next week when I reveal the third supplement that will boost your brain function.curcumin
