Melissa has written a detailed biochemistry ‘novel’ on fats and oils in health and disease entitled, “ The Last Tango with Butter.” Now completing the second edition, she has re-written the science into a consumer friendly explanation detailing the perils of vegetable oils and the merits of saturated fat and how these two foods affect cholesterol and disease states.

Her desire is to help change the current public health paradigm policy for heart disease towards a more wholesome fat dietary recommendation and avoiding statin medication as standard protocol.
